Great hospital friendly helpful staff
Excellent hospital, lovely staff, I'm attending the physio department at the moment, my therapist is called Jim. Such a lovely gentleman, very kind and caring, explains everything in detail. Would definitely recommend
Very poor patient care. Procedures not explained at all. Staff showed no interest at all. Spent their time chatting to each other. Beds were dirty and the room was very dirty.
Recently had an operation at Highfields and after feeling extremely nervous going in, the staff made me feel at ease. There was no waiting around, everything was explained to me in full details on numerous occasions, the room and bathroom was spotless. The journey to surgery and in the prep room was relaxed and again doctors and medical staff amazing. After care was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hospital for any procedures.
The surgery and after care was tip top. The physio however was lacking.
The care and treatment I received was second to none . However ,don't try ringing the hospital ,unless you are prepared for a long, long wait, being subjected to a LONG wait ,listening to an extended sales pitch ,and intrusive background music. And I only wanted a little info from the front desk. God assist you if what you need is serious.
.
My over night stay at Highfield Hospital was made as comfortable as possible, the nursing staff, the catering staff and the consultant's team all very attentive and supporting.
My operation was expertly executed by my consultant and recovery time was minimal, back to normal in no time.
Highfield hospital was comfortable, the staff and facilities are excellent.
I have no hesitation in publicly recommending this hospital and it's staff.
I have recently had major surgery and chose highfiled as my hospital, my first appointment was at the outpatients department with my consultant and there was approx 20 mins waiting time as he was running a little behind, (a few year ago I had waited 2 hour and 40 mins at rochdale infirmity for an outpatient appointment so Im more than happy to wait 20 mins.) this gave me chance for a free coffee
I have had surgery twice, as an NHS patient, at BMI Highfield. My treatment by all the staff was always polite, caring and professional.
Having private facilities is a great bonus when you are feeling below par and privacy is always a big priority.
Physiotherapist was excellent too. Very patient and supportive.
Highly recommended.
